Fred Thompson, who had already promised the religious right that he would back an amendment banning gay marriage now says that he will not do as he said and also announced this in front of the same crowd he promised that he would support it to. This is the biggest mistake he has made yet!
I can assure you there is no other candidate out there that would commit this kind of a John Kerry flip-flop so blatantly. Yet again, we see Fred Thompson FAIL at being the next Reagan as so many have said he is. I bet Mitt Romney is looking more and more appealing to that crowd right now!

God loves those that tell the truth. How many out there running can stand up to that rule? If the man stands up and tells what he believes, knowing it is going to cost him precious votes, then that is my kind of man.

well, he did not tell the truth. he said originally that he would support the amendment. that was just a month ago. now he says otherwise. seriously, this is a case of flip flopping
