POLITICO THINKS ROMNEY WILL WIN NOMINATION

The current top story on Politico has an interesting message:

Romney is better-positioned to win the nomination than former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani or Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson — both of whom are trouncing him in national surveys.

They cite Rudy and Thompson as leading in National Polls but do not think that they will be able to win since Romney is leading in the early primary states. The strategy of the Romney campaign is paying off BIG TIME.

You can't run a national campaign this early. You have to stay focused on the primaries and caucuses as they come. Rudy and Fred will never win the nominaiton because they are thinking too far down the road.
