Senator Kit Bond to endorse Rudy. This is surprising given that most of the party organization in Missouri has come out for Mitt. An article at Politico discusses how beneficial this endorsement is. Under an argument claiming that this would help unify support in MO, they fail to mention that he is one of the first of the MO party leaders to defect the rest of what the party appears to be doing and support Rudy.
MO is a key state in any presidential election. With Former Senator Jim Talent, Governor Matt Blunt, and Speaker Rod Jetton all supporting Governor Romney, I think that Senator Bond's endorsement will get lost in the mix off all the support going towards Mitt. Growing up in Missouri under Kit Bond, I am extremely disappointed. Bad move Senator Bond.

Well, Kit Bond has always been a disappointment. Big deal for MO voters. The party organization is already behind Romney so this trick from Bond won't do anything to Mitt's chances.
