Rudy's Cell Phone Flop

People are still talking about the time when Rudy answered his cell phone when he was addressing the NRA almost a month ago. That moment when Rudy tried to appear more human has really blown up in his face. The coverage he has gotten on this FLOP over the past month has not been positive by any means. I will give Rudy credit though for talking to the NRA, an organization that is not particularly fond of him for good reason.

What Rudy needs to do is go after his base and not try all these stunts such as answering the cell phone in the middle of a speech in front of a crowd that is not to excited about you. But when Rudy turns to find a base he finds that he has none which makes him incredibly weak. He has to pull moderates away from all of these organizations if he wants to keep momentum going. His National poll numbers are very inflated and his campaign is far overrated. He has forgotten the early primary states and ignores the base of the party. Interesting that the Religious Right is discussing running a third party candidate against him should he receive the nomination. Rudy had better watch out.
