AFP Summit Wrap Up

This was an amazing event. BIG thanks to Tim Phillips and Chris Koch and everyone else at AFP for organizing this.

Final Assesment:
-Mitt will be done in a seperate post as soon as the video of his speech is available.

-FRED THOMPSON, horrible day for him. My fellow bloggers on bloggers row all agree that Fred's performance was poor. His speeches to both the general audience and the Virginia delegation were poorly delivered and filled with lots of "UH'S"! All he said was fluff. ALSO SKIPPED Q&A WITH MEDIA AND BLOGGERS. BIG MISTAKE. When Mitt was done, LOTS OF FRED SUPPORTERS DEFECTED AND JOINED TEAM ROMNEY!!!

-RUDY, decent performance but SKIPPED Q&A AS WELL. EVEN LARGER MISTAKE THAN WHEN FRED DID IT!

-RON PAUL, hahahhahaha this is good. They tried to cut him off in the middle of his speech by playing the entrance music for the next guy. It took 2 attempts from the event techs to get him to end. hahhahahahahahahhaha embarassing for RON PAUL NOT FOR AFP

-MCCAIN, NO SHOW! HUGE MISTAKE! ALSO SKIPPED CPAC!

Actually John McCain did attend AFP. He was the guest at a special cocktail reception in the Hart Senate Building on Thursday night. Senator DeMint also attended this event.

I will say that McCain looked old as usual, and gave a lackluster speech and then left without talking to the media as he had previously promised.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I was unable to attend the Thursday Events. Its stupid for candidates to not take questions from media. When Candidates such as Thompson, Rudy, and McCain don't speak clearly it is hard to understand what they actually stand for.
